Crossfade Teams Up with Lillywhite For 2nd Album
Katie Hasty, N.Y.
Crossfade has teamed with producers like Randy Staub and Steve Lillywhite for its sophomore set, "Falling Away." Due Aug. 29 via Columbia, the album is the follow-up to the band's 2004 self-titled debut. First single "Invincible" will hit U.S. radio outlets later this month. The trio is planning a tour beginning in late August in support of the release. Crossfade is fresh off visits to eight different U.S. overseas military bases. "We hope to continue doing more and more of these shows across the world to show our soldiers how much respect we have for each and every one of them," says group member Mitch James. "Crossfade" has sold 1.1 million copies in the U.S., according to Nielsen SoundScan. The single "Cold" reached No. 2 on Billboard's Modern Rock chart and No. 3 on the Mainstream Rock tally.
